The lymphatic system is an important part of the immune system, the body's defense system against disease. The lymph nodes filter fluid as it flows through them, trapping bacteria, viruses, and other foreign substances, which are then destroyed by special white blood cells called lymphocytes. I'm dedicating this video to the First Amendment, freedom of speech. For my freedom of speech supersedes your feeling no matter who you are. Although we live in the information age, doesn't mean you'll like or understand everything you obtain. Science Channel: Your Blood is Blue

I thought this was a science channel? So why are they telling people your blood is blue? It's never blue. Ever. Dark red veins blood is caused by a lack of oxygen Bright red arterial blood is caused by a rich oxygen content Your blood is comprised of three kinds of cells, Red blood cells, White blood cells, and platelets. I wish the Science channel didn't perpetuate this myth and long standing misconception.

The White Stripes are an American rock band, formed in 1997 in Detroit, Michigan. The group consists of songwriter Jack White (vocals, guitar, and other assorted instruments) and Meg White (drums and occasional vocals).
